Just a quick question, if I get one of those little propane stoves, I can have those little propane bottles right? no law against it or something stupid like that is there?

Im not a driver, but i wouldnt think so. Its not like your carrying them with ill intent, it shouldnt be treated any different than a microwave.

If you have an inverter big enough for a microwave you can power other devices for cooking that are safer than a propane-powered cooktop. -
I carry a small Coleman camping grill in my luggage compartment and the small propane bottles in my frame mounted side box. I've never heard I can't carry the bottles in cab, but since I have the side box that's where I keep them. Obviously I am doing my grilling outside at rest areas and the like. When the weather is more conducive, we grill a lot. That grill is one of the smartest investments I've made for the truck.

Some tunnels require you to have gas bottles inspected before going through. I know the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel has an inspection area specifically for this.

A driver once told me only two canisters can be onboard, never did check if that was law or not. I usually carry two anyway, during winter month's, I've considered carrying four, I use a propane backpacking stove to boil water, nothing more, all mre food items on board require hot or cold water.
Never know, could be stuck in a storm for days.. I've had this one since the 80's

It's against some company policies as well.

No regulation against it. I carry a butane burner. Stove was cheaper as well as the fuel. I also carry a Mr. Buddy heater and two bottles for emergencies.
