I have some friends, the family, and some times I do some work for them that are an Ams Oil dealer. Mainly for themselves but they sell some. They farm and cut corn. One of their tractors had an issue and they decided to inframe it because was the off season and it had 10,000 hours on it. Still had the crosshatch marks in the cylinders. Told me when its time to work we don't have time to be changing oil so the extended intervals justify the cost. I thank their chopper has a 900 HP Mann that fills up a semi dump in about three minutes. They own a herd of tandum dumps that circle that chopper like a tornado all day. Trash in the radiator heats them up.
They have been using this product a lot of years and my dad was a dealer it the late 70's. Saw some impressive results myself on cars with 25,000 mile oil changes and a filter at 12,500. Also depressive ones with old equipment at times.
There are some other premium brands like Schaffer and maybe even Mobile 1 but I have no long term experience with them.bzinger Thanks this. -
Just about any major brand should have the product your looking for. They all have to meet the required specs.
I have used mobil 1 products since the seventies. Use it in all the vehicles and equipment I own. Have never had an oil related problem where the mobil 1 was used.
I would look at something in a 40 or 50 viscosity rating.
my guess is available products will be multi grades.
hard to find a straight grade any more.
a larger oil cooler, or adding one if not installed.
while reducing the oil temp with an extra cooler could be a help. Having more oil in the system along with the protection of the additive package is even better.bzinger Thanks this. -

What is the coldest temperature you ever have?
Because a 5w is too low for your needs.
And if i am right about your location, you might need even a 50.
So i would look at maybe a 15w-50 .
Depends on what is the highest the temperature climbs to in the dry season. -
He mentioned Australia in the OP...daf105paccar Thanks this.
