So I push in the clutch. Then try to put it in gear but kind of have to force it in. Is this just adjust ? Could it be the clutch break.

You can adjust at least some clutch breaks.even if clutch breaks have to replaced it's not really that.big of a bill

Thank you . I am buying the truck tomorrow. On friday when I test drove I noticed it was a little roughg getting in to gear. just thought I'd get some opinions on it before I ask the dealer to adjust it or replace it. I guess I should get it fixed before I take the money to the table.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 17, 2017

After engaging the clutch brake it isn't uncommon to have to let the clutch up about an inch to pop it into gear.
Dunno if that helps? -
Yes I would most definitely get them to fix it and retest drive doesn't take them but about an hour maybe 2 to replace it
-
Yeah ive i have had that on trucks before. I guess im just getting nervous on everything.....

I think i will mention it first thing in the momorning they have to pit it in the shop to service and everything. It just kind of goes so fast when your in the dealer. Glad I had the weekend to relly sit and think everything through and Remember the little things that got overlooked.

It is a easy fix if, if it a 2 piece clutch brake, otherwise the trans has to come out. Adjustment should fix it.
