Hey great thanks.Whats a skid?A vehicle?Does being at one terminal over another effect what is available for you to haul or how much you can make. The driver from Huntsville on this thread was wanting to transfer to B'ham for that reason it seemed. He was stationed at a Tn terminal.Do they send out a message with all the available loads and its first come first serve. Is that a common practice with car hauling companies or a H&A thing.Thank for the comeback, glad it's working for you

I would love to hear how the typical day and week goes with this company. Trying to wrap my head around no sleeper trucks and 60hr work weeks. Try comparing lifestyle of normal 70hr with sleeper van driver. They consintantly promote home daily and or weekly but is it possible to just run 4 or 5 weeks and go home for a week?

I run through 60+ hrs usually in 5 days then go home.
Monday I leave go load and run my 11/14 out go to hotel.
Tuesday I get up usually on my 10 run and deliver 1-3, maybe 4 stops turn around and head back again running my 11/14 out go to hotel.
Wednesday I get up usually on my 10 and go load, turn around and run 11/14 out go to hotel.
Thursday I get up deliver 1-3, maybe 4 stops turn around and head back again running my 11/14 sometimes I load Thursday late sometimes not.
Friday i get up usually ony 10 and load if I didn't have time Thursday or I roll if loaded Thursday and drop 1-3, maybe 4 stops, put my truck away and hammer down home. 60+ hrs burned M-F. Last week I loaded and delivered 5 loads, switched trucks, and worked very close to my 70, made very good money though.
I do not work for Hansen and am semi dedicated.
