    looking to buy first truck. Looking at a Volvo I shift And freightliner smart shift. 2011. And 2012. Miles 250 to 400. Any advice?

    Get all the maintenance records and if there's anything emissions related (EGR, DPF, SCR), run away.

    Get engine hours.
    Will tell you much more then miles.
    Also get the total time they have been idled.
