What if I bought a co-pilot9 for laptop from a driver. It seems to show it's registered to me. It may be bootleg, don't know. But how do i get the gps device to plug into my laptop? will any of them work?(the thing that looks like a mouse and tells my computer my exact location)

You'll need some sort of GPS antenna & software. The antenna will plug into on of your USB ports.

I bought my first laptop GPS setup off of E-Bay for about $30.00, it was a "Holux" & worked fine. Later when I bought my next laptop it had Vista & there wasn't any drivers for the Holux so I went to Staples & bought a new Delorme maps with the antenna that works with Vista. I think now they even have antennas that work via bluetooth.

Pretty much any will work with the CoPilot program.
