You can pretty much forget Progressive. Talked to them last week, they went ahead and quoted me a price for a new authority but, they also explained if I did go with them as soon as all the info came across with the new dot number, it most likely would be cancelled. He said it would be a shame since I have 0 tickets in the last 3+yrs and 0 accidents in 30 yrs, but all the bad eggs cause them to create new regulations such as this.
tonycr Thanks this. -
Progressive wouldn't write me with new authority and a clean 10 year old CDL.
OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
He didn't say New Authority. He said New CDL. If he has had his authority for a while, Progressive use to let you train a new CDL holder.
I knew they stopped writing new entrants with new authority.Socal Xpress Thanks this.
