Christmas was either late or very early. Friend of mine is moving shops and said "whatever is in that corner is free". 5-6 chains, binders, clevises, 3" portables, corner protectors etc.![]()

Friend of mine hauls a lot of concrete, his company gave them to him. He also had a bunch of old rubber hose in the same lengths he said he liked using better.MJ1657, snowman_w900, Chewy352 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Man I would like to have some of those edge protectors. Are they flexible or are the sides stiff?
I have an assortment of different sized plastic ones. Would love to have some like that. Nice score!

Video #2 - Good video showing the steps, but why would they put all the straps on the outside of the rails. The whole load strapped like that, I'd rather have my straps behind the rails, don't need to get side swiped, straps cut and load all over the road!!
Video #2 - This a great video on the doubles, I constantly see these loads coming thru Toronto mostly on B-Trains like @Dye Guardian . Always was amazed these loads don't move if tied down correctly and the amount of straps they take to get it strapped correctly.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
They're sling protectors not strap protectors. You can use them for that, I do but they're designed to protect rigging from abrasions during a lift, I keep some on the boomtruck. They're like C below, mine are all black but the same thing. On those the black side goes against the sharp edge.

Figured since I had the pictures up posting in a different thread i'd throw them up here as well. Scrap load I grabbed a few weeks back on a Conestoga. Glad I didn't have to tarp this.
