Walmart here I come!

What kind of home time does walmart offer? What's the policy for unpaid home time?

 

Home time varies depending on the work schedule you choose ( or in the beginning are assigned to!). Each DC has different work schedules available, as the freight flow demands. I work 5 days on, two days off. I leave for work Monday morning at 6:15 and my wife knows I'll be home between 6-8pm Friday evening. But I've got 15+ years of longevity to hold that schedule. Two days home each week should be the minimum. Unpaid time seems to be entirely up to the manager on duty at the time you ask. Again, it all depends on how busy your DC is. But if they see you are taking too much time off, I'm sure you'll be called in to talk about it.

Congrats to all new hires! Take your time and be safe! I'm livin the dream! A few weeks ago, I couldn't get Johnny Cash "I've been everywhere man" out of my head. I've driven in a lot of snow, and got to experience Donner Pass for the first time in my life, shortly before they closed it. Having much respect, and being cautious, can go a long way in keeping one out of trouble. I have a feeling that I may get to go back real soon. My new motto is " Suck it Up, and Chain Up."

 

I sure do love my Walmart Man................. and am very proud of him.

 

What's the amount of hours do you have to work a day? Can you run 12 hours a day if you wish?

congrats. im still waiting for me phone interview. maybe it will come maybe it wont. but glad i put in for it tho.

 

question how many people called hr to check up on app. or did yall just leave it alone. its been 3 weeks still under consideration status. didn't want to bug the hr lady. so I haven't called
