This is one major thing I like about working for my much smaller company. None of this BS about you have to get up and do this or that. I am happy at work again, for a change.
I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Per advice from my dm I went to safety in person.
Short version: Problem solved. -
The arguing about driving illegal, no. First time. The calling me while I'm sleeping, last night was the fifth time. And the last.
I told safety and my dm if it happens again they're losing a perfectly good driver. Safety assured me to my face it would not be happening any more. -
What am I missing? You said earlier you ran 2400 miles for the week yet you're out of hours??
Eldiablo Thanks this. -
If that happened to me, there would be a dispatcher or two with lumps on their heads.

Just got out of the movies. New Triple X movie.
Meh. Saw it because Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa.
Got a voice mail stating I would have no more trouble from midnight dispatch.
And it is possible to bounce off your 70 with less than 3000 miles. In my case I had time left but not enough to finish the run I was on and wasn't picking any hours up. -
Early morning PTA so good night to you all (smoochie smoochie)

I had Giltner do that to me once. Just once. I was at Johnson's Corner Truck Stop because the 80 was shut down due to snow and ice. They called me at 3 am and told me it was open now and to get my ### up and running. I got up there and it was still shut down and I spent the next day parked in the parking lot at the little town of Buford. I called the dispatch office and told them I was coming straight in and was going to kick the dispatchers ### for it. When I got there he was no where to be found and the owner tried to talk me out of quitting. No chance. Don't place my life in jeopardy and think your going to get away with it.

Bumping the 70 after 2400 miles though...that's some serious on duty/not driving time. Hope it was compensated.
Eldiablo Thanks this. -
Never had this problem since I have a cellphone

When I sleep, my phone is on mute, anybody can call and I don't care.
Never reached my 70 with only 2400 miles, made 3800 miles in 8 days last week and still had hours left...
