Taking another swing at it

I dread going near DC tomorrow, but it's the fastest way to get to Michigan with this ultra lightweight load of pool noodles

 

To drop and swap for my load to GA and final in Miami

 

Important note: when pre tripping a trailer, don't assume that just because there is a paper occupying the registration holder, that it's the registration itself.
Got inspection in KY and turns out it was the maintenance sheet. Non moving citation. First ticket in more than 3 years. For anything.
Funny this is, company asked me to find a fax and get a copy, so I found a fax and sent the number. 20 minutes later, nothing.
"Just keep rolling, we can't find a copy of it to fax."
Later that day,
"We have a temporary registration we can send now, no rush. "

Still headed to Miami. I should be unloaded by 3or so.

 

AC went out. So I got a motel until Friday morning when my load is ready Miami to Lansing

 

Went to get ice, twice. Was told by motel guy he just cleaned it because it was making bad ice. Come back in 2 hours.
I came back and he said he ordered the part, and started lecturing me about how it's a down economy and I didn't understand.

 

I'll be back in MI in the morning, we will see what happens next
