You normally accept it before being sent for your physical.each dc has their own way of doing things though.

I did all that, then had to wait for them to call with final offer, they had to run background check ect and get other people tested

The one thing I worry about is the dc I applied at. (Spring Valley, IL) They seem to be doing a lot of hiring. I wonder if its because a lot of drivers don't care for that dc and is either quiting or transferring from it.

Usually it is because there have been, or are going to be a lot of retirements. Also, some DC's are taking back more of the grocery load from close grocery DC's due to high losses from dedicated carriers. This is demanding more drivers. Nothing saves WM more money than using their own private fleet. Many don't believe it due to wages.......... but the savings are in the safety of the fleet, and their actually caring about what they are hauling. This gets the mdse to stores on time, and in one piece, in complete safety.

Did everyone else who started receive a separate check for orientation. Or was it deposited with your weeks pay that you did with your trainer? I'm starting to do my taxes from last year I don't see my orientation pay anywhere. I was payed for the week I spent with my trainer. But I don't see where the pay is at for the classroom portion.

Pay for the week of orientation and the week with your mentor would be combined and show as "regular earning" on your paystub. Both weeks are on your first paycheck. This is why they start orientation at the beginning of a pay period. Your greenbar printout would give you an itemized detail of the earnings for that or any 2 week period.

Have you created a login for the WalmartOne website? You can see all your past and present paystub information, as well as a lot of other helpful information on the site.

Yea I've used Walmartone. I have my green bar for the time in question. It's just for my time with the trainer.

It should be combined, but if you're like me and haven't earned 14 an hour in years you probably didn't notice it because it's such a small amount.

Is the gross pay on your paystub the same as on your greenbar? Is there any entry on the greenbar to cover the hourly pay for orientation? The amount for orientation would be in the $560-$700 range, depending on how many hours times $14 an hour you were paid.
