SWR vs Resonance

Didn't think a stock 29 would get out that far but doesn't mean my mirage will do that but sounds like I'll just stick with what I got and hope for the best

 

Used the 2 i own a hundred times tryin to figure stuff out

 

I just want to stomp with the big dogs and know in being heard.....Without spending 500 bucks.

 

Well a great ant set up with a basic radio will out do a big radio on a crappy ant..
A good ant set up is great an all nut its not gonna magically increase power like a 500 watt amp..It just becomes a more efficient set up so the radio doesnt have to miscle it way through the chatter..

 

I've got a cobra 29 and Wilson 2k.


I need more power. Im obsessed.

 

Ya know what..The lil stryker 447hp2c is almost 70 watts tuned properly and its smaller than your cobra with chrystal clear sound..It may not walk over the big radios in the parkin lot but it will reach out better
Again it depends on what kinda truck,ant placement
