1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Safety bonus?? That's an oxymoron for a FedEx driver.

Wonder if these are W2 or 1099 positions.

Wonder if the boss provides adequate porta-potty systems, or are trucks allowed to stop outside of driver shift changes.

Being as how I drove for a ground contractor for several years..I'd guess it's a 1099..be surprised if it wasn't..and the mileage rate he has there listed sounds good..but more than likely that is split between the drivers. They are very tough on stopping per se..they use to call me constantly asking where we were at. Thank god I'm gone!!

These are full time employee w2 positions. Stopping is permitted. Not sure where drumming trucker gets his information but it is highly inaccurate. Haven't had a single safety violation with any of our drivers in 6+ years

I get my info from first hand experience. While, not all contractors are rip off artists there are some good ones. Maybe, you are one of the good ones. I just know I hated my experience at ground..constant rush and hurry. Good luck to you!
