I have a Magnovox digital tv/dvd player and it is connected to truck antennas. I have been in areas that have already switched to the digital tv viewing, but when I search digital signals, I pick up nothing. Will someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Once again, I DO have a digital tv, this is not the problem. Does the CB antenna NOT work to pick up digital signal?
    Help!!
    Thanks

You may need to check and make sure that your antennas are hooked into the coax that goes into your tv.

I just got a digital tv and I've been in Baton Rouge, Jacksonville, and now Nashville. I usually get a lot of channels and a lot in HD. Some times the picture does freeze intermittently but most of the time, so far, I've had an excellent viewing experience. It's amazing having HD in the truck. And I am only connected to my CB antennas.

Thanks for the info. I am in Dubeque Iowa now, and once again searched for digital signal. I received 0 analog channels, but managed to pull a Christian television Station on the digital side. So, atleast I know that it is functioning correctly. My antennas may be weak and not drawing enough signal, but that one channel came in quite clear. I appreciate your help.

Digital TV works off the UHF side of the spectrum. You need a good UHF antenna. UHF are the bow tie shaped antennas you see on rabbit ears. They also make amplified antennas that may help also pull it in. CB antenna won't pull in as much.

This is probably the way to go. I'm about 20 miles outside of KC right now and am getting about 15 channels, but getting a lot more of that pixilation. A better antenna may give you more range. And I'm guessing schristopher69's cb antennas are not wired correctly into the coax.
