    depends on what you make. You can cook up rice dishes in about thirty minutes.I ate a boatload of Zataran's Jambalaya back in the day, it was pretty quick and easy t make. Chicken and other meat, I'd put it in there at the start of my day in the morning, drain the juice out of it around mid-day, and dump a bunch of barbecue sauce and let it simmer in that for a few hours more
