2015 Cascadia Front left turn signal bulb doesnt work/blown/burned out. Before I go out & there is a trick to it, once I pull over the hood, does this bulb/wiring harnes just 1/4 turn & pull out? If not, whats entailed in changing this turn signal bulb? Am I gonna need jack hammers & chain hoists to get this changed?
By the way, just to add, I aint too sure the bulb or wiring harness aint loose or something. I think its works sometimes & sometimes not.. I noticed it this afternoon on the way home when using the left turn signal U noticed it was out when I got parked, but it was dark when I got parked so I wanna check it out in the morning before I leave out.
Is this just an 1157 amber two element bulb with the little flat end on it?
Any relevant info is appreciated.

Helloooooo??????

I haven't had to look at mine yet. The flat ones now common just pull out. The old round ones you turn, but I haven't see them in a truck in a long time.

Right, but I am asking about how to get to the bulb. Are there headlight housing to remove, light socket to remove, or is this just going to be a situation where I can just pull the hood over, put my hand directly on the socket, 1/4 or 1/2 turn & pull the socket right out of the housing, change the bulb & replace? Or is this going to be a task. I mean, I just want a heads up if so. I mean when I get out there this morning, I want to kind of have an idea of what its going to entail so, I dont have to waste a lot of time trying to figure this out if turns out to be some sort of stupid mfg setup intended to have me take it back to Freightliner just to change a bulb. Tips? Tricks?
Thanks. -
OK. Update.
Yep, pull the hood over, grab the wiring harness where it goes into the housing, 1/4 turn to the left & it comes right out. Replace & you're done. No jack hammer, cutting torch or chain hoist needed. Easy, peasy... now we know.
