No. Insuring the truck was road legal is the driver's responsibility. Hence the ticket has the driver's name on it.
cnsper and passingthru69 Thank this. -
Yep, all on you.
You should have a permit book that has you ifta, registration, insurance, eld cab card, and (if needed) all the alcohol permits for each state. If you don't the truck should be siting until you do. -
Are you talking about IFTA? Or are you talking about the state of KY or NM use tax? Either way I would say no, it's your responsibility. Having said that, I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's not a moving violation and it's probably a "no points" violation. Sue them? For what? something that has little or no significance on your license. I would find another job.

Sure do have a lot of guys on here allways suing companies for anything.I wonder if they would be ok if any time they were late paying there electric bill or car note the companies would just sue them.Ridiculos what record for late payment where do they post your late payment at?your are responsible for your inspection and your highway use tax it's your truck.bet your doing a lease purchase

What blemishes?
It isn't a moving violation like speeding so who cares. -
