Whatever floats your boat. Not true but if you want to believe it I guess no one is going to change your mind.

So are you denying that there are at least a few drivers out there who cause accidents because they are fatigued because they drive too many hours thanks to paper logs?
That there are drivers who would be prevented from driving too many hours and causing wrecks if they couldn't fudge driving hours?

And just what in the blue blazes makes you think that E logs makes you sleep on your break? I have heard too many times "bro I'm so tired I stayed up till 3 playing what ever video game" or stayed up drinking etc. E logs are gonna make us no safer than we ever were. No difference in driving and not sleeping or playing a #### game or starting a break early cause it's mandated by time then watching a #### foot ball game in the driver's lounge and not going to bed. You may not do it but others do. It's simple the box doesn't control your life neither does a piece of paper.

It's stupid to drive fatigued legal or not. With the current rules and a #### box trying to make delivery there is a much greater chance of driving fatigued but being "legal" than ever to make a delivery or pickup

I agree that there are other causes of fatigued driving, and drivers not sleeping is a bad one, but that is not as easy to enforce, unlike how many hours a person drives.
That is the low hanging fruit, and has quite a bit of payback, so it is the next step they are taking.

Obviously what we need is full-on biometric monitors hooked up to us 24/7. Only then can we guarantee no one is driving when they shouldn't. Better safe than sorry ya know.

Want to break a bad habit? Sign up for the Custom Behavior Modification program, and we can add additional habits. (in addition to the mandatory retraining.) (not covered by insurance, but a payment plan will be available.)

(SHHH! That is "proprietary" information... They will hunt you if you talk about it. Then they will put the unit on you, help you forget about it, and make you enjoy it!)

    DarkhorseEnterprises Thanks this.
