I had the very opposite problem. For the first three months I don't think I had more than two times where I had more than one pre at a time and majority of the time I would wait a bit to get a pre after finishing a load. To be fair, it took a while for me to figure out that I can adjust the delivery eta after setting it and show up early with my nat actually being accurate and not showing my availability two hours past my actual arrival time.

I would call the customer directly and ask. Their phone number is on the bottom of workflow (just in case you didn't know, I've no clue if they mention that).
I can't count the times where I'd shut down for hours (and a few times days) because repeated calls to dbl yielded nothing but a "can't deliver early no matter what and we can't relay it".
And then I'd get to the customer and ask and they tell me I could have showed up anytime.mindes Thanks this. -
That only works if the number is correct.Home_on_wheels, Friday, SingingWolf and 1 other person Thank this.

"True DAT" last 2 I called # was disconnected

Sometimes Google maps is a big help in this regard. The phone number is usually there...
Roll on...Home_on_wheels, Friday, milehunter43 and 1 other person Thank this. -
This this this, google the place. I have been told "well they don't really want drivers calling in..." by a DBL; by "they" I guess he meant the people higher up. So CS purposely leaves in outdated or fairytale contact numbers.driverdriver and Friday Thank this.

Not a good way to handle it.
The person accepting the load early May not know there's an service failure for being early.
Example target will in gate you with no problem won't even ask you anything.
Yet there is a 1000.00 fine for going in early ,sometimes it's to Schneider sometimes it's to the shipper.jakecat22 and gentleroger Thank this. -
The other day I called the listed # it was a weather hot line lolmilehunter43 and Friday Thank this.

Well, if it specifies that going in early is a service failure, then yeah, don't do it. But if there's no such remark and it just has a dumb cs set appt time.....
But yes. Wrong phone number is best remedied with a google map or just a google search on the place. -
That's where a another problem is, sometimes there won't be any notes in workflow about a fine but I'll see it on the load notes on the load board.
Our customer service people do such a great job at keeping notes an remark tab up to date and accurate. Lol
