Issue? Pretty sure they don't issue you anything. They do sell you about $3-4K worth of equipment.

20 4in straps, several 2 in straps and ratchets, get a few 4 inch ratchets. 40 edge protectors.

20 chains, I'd go 15 ratchet binders and 5 snap binders. 12 friction mats. Chain guards. 10 coil racks with accompanying bevel boards.

2 steel tarps, 2 lumber tarps, 1 smoke tarp.

Cheater bar. Strap roller. Boxes of bungies and other perephrial ########.

Pipe steaks unnecessary, leave them when they give you the gear. Plastic wrap provided by customer 99% of the time, leave that as well.

That's what they give you in the kit. Tell Shawn you want brand new chains and straps by take the tarps used. You'll have to pay for the pipe stakes and plastic but in 3 years on flats the customers that wanted those items 100% of the time provided their own of each, so I wouldn't bother taking them unless you like having a bunch of #### get in your way constantly.

A few of the places that ship drilling pipe won't allow those type of pipe stakes anymore for safety reasons. They won't stop pipe from falling off when used on an aluminum trailer, they just punch a hole in the rail like a can opener and/or rip off the rubrail... You'll notice a few trailers around with damage from pipe stakes.

I'm surprised they are still putting them with the equipment. I agree, they are useless.

Not a problem. I went and finally got financed on my own tractor more recently. Peace of dog #### but my name is on the title. Prime is a great place to start and I'm sure you'll do well enough if you've got a strong back and the work ethic to follow. Best of luck.

Thanks! I have the drive and I'm no stranger to work. I'm on the bus headed to sprimo now.

Good luck with your business! I plan on starting under my own authority in about 3 years or so.
