Carolina Cargo probably give you a chance. Did you try Wiley Sanders Truck Lines?
Scroll down to the "Seeking Job" thread and put your info there.

From what I heard I'd be better off bagging groceries and at least getting home at night than working for Carolina Cargo. I know the experience is what I'm after but I just feel like I'm one good conversation with the right person away from getting in with a decent flatbed job. Thanks again.

And my instructor at Southern Union mentioned Wiley. (I didn't tell him about my felony I was embarrassed, he was my same teacher from 2011 I didn't want him to think bad of me) Maybe I'll try them too.

Wiley sometimes hires felons, so give it a try. They have dry van and dry bulk tankers. The vans run all over the place, not sure about freight lanes for dry bulk tankers. I've done dry bulk tankers and it's great trucking. I did the 48 states running with them.

The thing about bagging groceries is you're stuck in a job that usually hires the town misfits that are too lazy to do anything else.
With Carolina Cargo, you're on your way to some great paying jobs if you can hang in there for 6-12 months.

Wasn't it Jesus that said " He who is free of sin let him cast the first stone"? We've all made mistakes in our lives and and i personally think we all deserve a fair chance or a fair go bottom line bud is some people will feel like i do and others will just say here's a 1/4 go dial someone that cares either way you've just got to get out there and keep applying for jobs and someone will give your a chance the main thing is keep your chin up dude be positive and the people who interview you will sense the good vibes as well.

Well I applied for those you told me but no cigar. The main reason I had paid for tge refresher was to get to know the instructors and hopefully they could help me get my foot in somewhere. The last one I tried was Wiley. I called my instructors and told them about my situation. They called McElroy, Benny White and Wiley Sanders, they knew guys at all three. But it didn't help. And then they suggested I just get my own truck..

The problem with buying a truck in your situation is insurance.
    Try some more companies:
    Carolina Logistics
    Balkan Express
RoadTex - they hired a guy on this forum that was on parole.
    Carolina Southern
    Paschall Truck Lines
    May Trucking Company
    Martin Enterprises of the Carolinas
    Check Craigslist also.

I know this isn't anywhere close to what you are looking for, and I don't mean to speak out of turn, but have you tried applying at Coke or Pepsi for a route driver job.

It's far from where you want to be but maybe it will get you in the seat and open some doors moving forward in a year or so?

    Just tossing it out there.
