I wonder what that makes the new ISX then? We have been trying to make a Powerbox work on that one and all it does is throw codes and regenerate every 5 minutes....It's like it *knows* it's being played with...and it's just messing with us.

Thought you guys cracked the ISX, or are you playing with the new 08 engines now? Did guys get it to work on the 08 CATs?
-
Ive ran my truck on power level 7 alot with my boost sensor always reading 49lbs pulling hills with over 80,000 lbs on the deck and i haven't had any problems with it knock on wood. So If you work for Diesel Injection what am I gonna hurt by doing this if its not overfueling and washing down my cylinders?

LOL inteligent Cat ecm ha ha LOL... how do you think the pittsburg works??? and what does it do thats different to anf Apexi?? nothing..
yes the apexi is a fancy ricer light show but it does the same thing as the pittsburg at a fraction of the cost.. what do you think a pittsburg does different ??? lol... just cause the ecm has 70 pins does that make it intelligent??
Apexi works well on c12 cat c15 cat cummins 600 signature and DDec 4 -
You still dont get it, the way it works and what it does it wont work on a diesel. The cat ecm is a whole lot different than a car ecm and its far superior to any car ecm with memory, speed, and how it works so yes it is far superior and way more inteligent, i didnt say anything that its better because it has 70 pins, im just comparing the newer 70pin ecm from the older 40pin with the new software. I know how the SAFC works as ive had one on a car and it was pretty much useless, you can adjust fuel curves with it up to 8k rpm from what i remember, EVEN if you hooked it up and had it working (which you wont because the ecm will notice something trying to alter it and not accept it) it wont have enough adjustment curve for the engine.
The pittburgh power box works the same but actually works with the ecm, the safc will fight it and will get shut down. Show me proof of it working until then i will call you a liar. -
And I call you a know it all that knows Fark all..
they work well on a diesel its you that really doesn't get it the pittsburg does not work with the ecm it may plug into it but does not work with it ..
it is not relevant how fast the computer is or how much memory it has in comparison to a car the fact is that the ecm uses the boost sensor signal amongst other thing to work out injector pulse if it were the case that the ecm would detect the modified signal and shut down then why the hell do cat boost wires work ?????? also the Apexi nano is adjustable in 50 rpm increments.. i also have a Digital Pulse Adjuster doubleing the Rpm feed signal to the Apexi so really im getting adjustment every 25 rpm which work well for me .. -
Prove it is all i say, so far all i hear is blah blah blah, show me a dyno slip also.
I also dont give a rats ### what you think of me friend

This is Australia not the US there are very few dynos around
the truck I have used it on was a company truck so im not paying to dyno it again... you say all you hear is blah blah blah ..... what a joke its you thats going blah blah blah ive told you how it works and you just come out with piss poor crap like the ecm is too fast and has heaps of memory ha ha ha ha
ps you didnt tell me how it is a cat boost wire doesn't make the ecm shut down...
Come up with some good reasons as to why it doesn't work... -
PM me if you can Aerodyne,
-
That right there is why im concerned about putting a driver on.....
If and when i do, if i catch anyone doing this crap without my knowledge, they will be walking from wherever they are when i find out....
