NYC isn't too bad as long as you don't go in blind. Know your routes in and out and have a backup plan in case something screwy happens and closes down you're route.
Personally I'd rather drive in NYC that some of the parts of jersey and Connecticut we go to. NYC drivers may be lunatics but they are pretty good at it. The other 2 that I mentioned..... -
