I'm going to get one just have to find one and a shop that carries them.I'm in no man's land now no such thing as a cb shop.

 

You guys are gonna' wind up costing me money. First the Stryker 447, then this. I'm getting a terrible urge to run over to Walcott.

 

I'm re-thinking buying one myself don't like hearing about the squeal deal.... that mic and my 400 watt radio probably wouldn't like each other ..

 

On my stryker 447hpc2 if I turned my TalkBack down I could run my mic gain wide open no audio squeal. When I used a 20 watt Uniden external speaker and the rk56 I never had a squeal. I'm thinking its not the mic but your radio combination etc. Need a radio expert that I'm not. Get the 447hpc2 wilson2000 trucker I'm pleased with mine sold a Galaxy dx44hp to get the stryker haven't had any regrets

 

I don't think Walcott has that Mic yet could ya pick me up about 20 ft. Of ground strap when your in there for my wonderful truck. Please and thanks lol

 

The Palomar SL 41is an excellent microphone your experience with this microphone might be a lot different. I'm thinking that it all has to do with the way you like to set your radio. Would I buy the microphone again yes I would. Sorry but my OCD kicked in.LOL

 

How the microphone performs is greatly affected by whoever has been in your radio.

Seems no one can make up their mind if it's a power mic or not... don't have a issue with squeal on any of my noise cancelling mic s. Original rk56 astatic 636 or my sra 198.... batteries in a mic ??? Always strange to me !!!

 

Never had any radio whoever set it up.have a issue but what extreme you have to go to make it right adjustment wise should be minimal no matter what radio even a bone stock one !!!!!
