Is it just the Steep and winding roads that make you guys not want to go to Wintersville?

Yea t. Seems like everything going there is crazy heavy too, which of course makes it worse. Only positive I can think of is you can overnight there.

I don't mind if it pays well enough.

Then again that's a oxymoron here on choice now.

    Nevermind.

I can understand it not being worthwhile for choice depending on the freight. I'm sure that landscape changes a bit when you are a company driver based out of there. How heavy does reefer typically get? I mean I'm sure it can max out your gross and is heavily dependent on what exactly you're loaded with, just curious what kind of averages to expect.

Jeez what a bunch of whiney babies you're on sr43 for like 2 miles off of a 4 lane. Also if you guys knew how to read a map and not just follow GPS cuz it told you to. From points north example akron/Canton take 77 down to 250e/22e to 43 only 13 or so miles difference same amount of time and less chance incapable drivers leaving pavement. Not everything is just off of interstate. The only bad thing I can think of is the city of Pittsburgh and the knuckle dragging Neanderthals they issue drivers license to.

As for weight yes you will be close to gross on most frozen/dairy reefer loads. Remix will rarely be close on gross just on axle when they put multiple skids of water on back end of trailer.

THANK YOU! I lived off 43 between Carrollton and Amsterdam for a while. Outside of the tight turns at the top or bottom of hills I didn't really think that 43 was that bad. Then again I haven't been on the road with a truck yet so I can't really judge.

If y'all think those roads are bad then don't go out west or to wv.

    Those areas have bad roads...

I concur; screw that state route if you have any kind of weight. I ran 22 to 77 (and vice versa) to get into and out of there.

As for Pittsburgh, well it's Pittsburgh.lol

Yeah that section of 22 is =%÷ especially when it's night and sheets of rain coming down.
When coming from the West on 70 it's only about 9 miles more to stay on 70 and go up 7
And it'll save you bout 45minutes
