As a new guy in the block,its kinda hard to find a good trucking company.So im prehire for werner and I start in october.I been reading lots of bad and some good about them but I don't have anywhere else to go due to my issue.I had my cdl over a now but never drove a truck since trucking school last year.I don't have any money now to take a cdl refresher program.I already look into it,but its cost to much money.Every trucking companys I called they said I would have to take a refresher program.So I called werner and they said no problem,im hire.I know this maybe a bad idea to do,but I got to start somewhere.So my main question is after 5 or 6 months or so,do any one think trucking jobs will get better here in Florida? Few companys I called said they hire off and on in Florida.Is this true?Im originalily from PA and there lots of trucking jobs up there.But I don't know if I sould moved back or wait to see what happens in 6 months.Im stuck in a rock and a hard place,what do guys think I sould do?
