As a new guy in the block, its kinda hard to find a good trucking company. So im prehire for werner and I start in october.I been reading lots of bad and some good about them but I don't have anywhere else to go due to my issue.I had my cdl over a now but never drove a truck since trucking school last year.I don't have any money now to take a cdl refresher program.I already look into it,but its cost to much money.Every trucking companys I called they said I would have to take a refresher program. So I called werner and they said no problem,im hire.I know this maybe a bad idea to do,but I got to start somewhere. So my main question is after 5 or 6 months or so,do any one think trucking jobs will get better here in Florida? Few companys I called said they hire off and on in Florida. Is this true?Im originalily from PA and there lots of trucking jobs up there. But I don't know if I sould moved back or wait to see what happens in 6 months.Im stuck in a rock and a hard place, what do guys think I sould do?![]()

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Any body hiring in Florida??
