Please explain me, what does B / G mean in Water Pump B / G , Power Steering B / G , air compressor B / G..

For what state?
I know in Michigan a “G” means it’s a “Gimme”. It is used when the vehicle you are using for the test is not equipotent with the item that is on the check sheet so they just give you that one.
I have no idea what a “B” would be. Possibly “Broken”? -
During the pre trip inspection you're supposed to tell the examiner if the water pump on your truck is belt or gear driven.

Ya, pretty sure Ryan423 and A_C_Cooper have it correct.
I never did a CDL test as I was grandfathered in. My nephew took the test last year so that is how I know that Michigan has a gimmie comment for some items.
