So ummm oops. Made a wrong turn and now I'm at the end of a dead end where I though I had enough room to spin around and I was just so unbelievably wrong lol. So now I'm sitting at the end of some stupid tiny road with the truck jacked to almost 90degrees and I'm currently waiting to see what kind of solution my company comes up with. (I stoped and called before I screwed myself worse by damaging something) and so it's just got me thinking(always a bad thing) I've been in difficult situations before but I've (up to now) been able to get myself out. I don't even know the point of this thread lol. Screw it, let's hear other peoples oops moments. Need to know I'm not the only one lol

Can you straighten it back out and back up to get back to that turn? Call the cops to help. Nobody here can help you at the moment.

And yes I missed a turn into a shipper's lot in NJ last year and directly beyond the driveway, the road turned into a private community with a dozen no truck signs. I called the police to stop traffic so I could blindside onto a street across from the shippers driveway. 20 minutes later, I was turned around and good to go. The police even thanked me for calling and not trying to do it myself. Glad to hear you stopped when you realized you were screwed and it didn't turn into another USA truck scene. Hope you can figure it out without a tow.

I have enough room to uncouple from my wagon. So from there I should be able to get pointed a better direction

You want an oops moment? Couple weeks ago at 2AM I got stuck with a loaded fuel semi over in Cupertino (San Jose, CA). I'm right down the street from Apple headquarters.

I missed my station, and couldn't turn around. Every street is divided by these stupid concrete medians. So I find a parking lot to flip around in. Only, I'm in a semi and didn't swing wide enough. Now I'm about to take out a tree, or slash my tire on this nice decorative rock. It is 2 AM and Cupertino is deserted. I end up backing up into the street, out of the parking lot, and into this little Japanese grocery store parking lot. Crank the wheel as hard as I can, pull up , drive all the way onto the sidewalk to swing wide enough so as to not take out the stop sign. After a lot of screaming, cussing to myself, and screaming "are you ****ing serious??! " to myself,I figured it out and made it to the station.

Always plan your trip. Google street view your location on your smart phone, if you're not familiar with the delivery sight. I deliver fuel to gas stations, and this has helped me avoid so many bad situations like you're in.

Hope it works out for you.
