    Does anyone use GPS APP on there phone. Which do you recommend? I've been through 3 rand mcnally and I'm planning to buy a garmin but I want to try the app until then.

    Google Maps for the win. Traffic conditions and rerouting on the fly. Satellite view and street view of shippers. Extremely accurate ETA (if you do the speed limit).

    Like any GPS app though, you have to use common sense. If it wants to route you through a residential or non-truck route, just pick your route using additional stops.

    Has a truck application along with live traffic conditions. Set it to truck parameters like height and toll road preferences.

    The first one I gave it to a trainee I had. And the other 2 stopped working after about 6 months or so. The first one was an older model really worked well.

    Google maps for navigation

    Fake GPS for spoofing my location
