Volvo Headlights

The road signs are designed to reflect , that makes them more visible at night.
Rain ... At night is where the factory LED lights are most amazing. They power through the wet black roads and you can see amazingly well.
Fog ... I turn on my fog lights for that..

 

Yeah I did the high beam thing and never got flashed by others. Those headlights just suck!

just to let know the lights on the outside of the truck are controlled by a light control module (lcm) so if you change the bulbs you might set a code so you might have to go a dealer and have the monitoring turned off , we charge 1/2 hr shop rate , there is a great led light that you can get but you need to get the dealer set and have the lcm programmed so they will not set codes but the lcm will monitor them and tell if a bulb gos out , the after market ones are cheaper from calif about half price , there on ebay , still need to have update programming done for the lcm , good luck

 

just to let know if you go from incandescent to led and you do not want set codes you need to have LCM update

This is the volvo upgrade and DOESN'T require the reprograming.. the light housing has the correct resistors so the LCM we'll see the correct voltage

 

I bought some sylvania xtreams at auto zone for mine about $60. Made a huge difference but i also installed some 1700 Kelvin led running lights for driving on blacout roads to get a wider beam. The combination worked great. 2013 volvo 680.
