Do you haul loads over 40,000 lbs? If so whats the weight on your steer? and what do you do to get your weight right? How often do they mess with you at the scale?

    What is your kingpin setting?
If you have 34 on the drives, how much do you have on the steers?

Read your book dude there is a table for interstate highways and also state routes. Interstates all permit 20,000 or more as long as tires and axle are weight rated higher than the weight. State routes are all different.
Now explain how it is false info. That's how I read it.

As long as your ratings are good to cover the weight; then yes.
I was referring to what you said about if he lived on the interstate,he would be fine.
    It's all good.

Hell, my Volvo is almost 14,000lb on steer axle bobtail.
I have a 14600lb front axle and run L rated 20 ply tires, not had a problem yet crossing scales.

Do you have any weight exemptions because of the type of tractor you have?

if your axel rated weight is 14,300 they don't mess with you for being 14,860?
