@gokiddogo
A person was telling me about some produce loads that are 1 pickup from Barrie or somewhere in Etobicoke with multiple deliveries to grocery stores (I believe) daily. He was saying, most of the time its power only. Do you know anything about these?

Always. Looking for a good laugh
You'll never give up your contacts? Not even to me -
I'd sooner give up my wife's combination
thomasweil, LoudOne, not4hire and 3 others Thank this. -
I wouldn't either. But the funny part is your contacts probably wouldn't use him anyways. They know you. They don't know him from the man in the moon. And what are the chances he even operates on your same lanes? So they are useless for him and he is to them. Even so, it would be foolish imo to pass that info on. Maybe he moves next door to you? I have seen it happen lol... One of the basic tenets of making it out here with a truck is you have to fish for and sniff out the freight that works for you. Wtf are you guys thinking asking someone else? Can you run that truck or not? I've never had a contact given to me from anyone that ever amounted to anything at all. I found them myself.
not4hire, gokiddogo and spyder7723 Thank this. -
That's a hell of a lot of advice to be asking for. Sounds like you need to do some research on mathematics and how to write and understand a profit and loss sheet aswell as write a SWAT analysis.
$37 per hour for a semi? #### I wouldn't run a rigid for that.. -
I agree with most of this but I've done really well from customer referrals over the last couple of years. Just saying.
-
His contacts would be worthless to me. We run different lanes. The chances of the stars lining up for a one off load the slim chance I was on his broker's lane...
-
The advantage of being asset free I guess. I'm listening to all tips lol.

Looking at the loadboard. A load from Winchester MA to Toronto Ontario = 568 Miles is paying $900.
Holy crap thats low.
