The video tells you how to apply for the "dock to driver" program. No experience is needed.

You start off as a dock worker driving a forklift. While you do that they train you to be a driver. When you complete that they move you onto a driving position.

UPS will NEVER hire him with no experience. And when they hire off the street for permanent position they will pick the hardest working seasonal drivers.
Same goes for package car. He would have to do seasonal work to even be considered.

Old Dominion or Saia would be his best bet though. Both pay their linehaul drivers the same.
Old dominion pays their p&d drivers a little more but they don't pay OT till after 55 or 60 hours. Saia pays OT after 45 hours.
After 10 years of employment Saia offers health insurance for free. I hear their health insurance is pretty good too.

Not so good news with allot of these unfortunately.... Saia has no positions available near me, Millis transfer required 1yr of experience since i didn't go to they're training program, YRC Freight only has 1 position available and that requires 1yr experience, UPS kicked me out the app as soon as i put in that i had 0 experience and i applied for Fed EX, Holland, and JRayl Transport but haven't heard anything back yet. Fingers crossed with those. The lady from millis mentioned something about Gordon ie: Heartland Express? Said they hire new grads or something along those lines.
