Schneider regional

I've been pretty happy here. Obviously not every day is peaches and cream and there's been a few that I said I was done with it all but I feel that alot of my gripes would be the same or worse at any other company. However, I dont have to deal with customer service and support shift like most of the guys do, and that seems to be a big headache at schneider. Only been here a year and change and I won't stay forever but as my first gig out of cdl school, I still feel it was a good choice.

They kept their word on everything they told me during recruiting and I even average far better miles than they told me I would. I was hospitalized my first week solo with Pneumonia and after I was released, they picked up a $1200 bill for a rental car to get home and back when I was cleared to go work. Schneider can suck some days but I don't know how many other megas would have done that for a first week driver and I do appreciate it. I try to remember that when I get fed up with whatever BS is going on. So yea, I can't promise anyone will be happy here especially since I've only worked on this one dedicated run but I've been happy for the most part.

 

What Dedicated Account are you on if you don't mind me asking? I am set for Midwest Regional. They have Dollar Tree I think, but I do not want to unload any trucks. Too old for that.

 

@AM14 breakdown is differently coded but same as layover, $65 a day. Got paid that once when my serpentine belt broke and I got towed and it took a day for them to fix it.....

Ignore the sheer idiocy, focus on amount!
