50% mpg gain? Guys who do the unspeakable mods don't even see gains like that.

Maybe he is at the same school that had the guy who developed the engine that ran on water. An the oil companies bought the patents and buried them.

In theory that could work. Or the guys who claim to run their car on gasoline vapor and get like 3 or 4x the fuel mileage. The part I don't believe is to make a vehicle go you need x amount of power. You can't just command it to burn 1/4 of the fuel and get the same power. Impossible.

The only part about the OP that may be true is his name;Sean. So, Sean as a Masters Student, wouldn't you have researched your work? You should know how DPF affects truckers. You should know exactly how a DPF works, plus the pros and cons of same. So my understanding is, you're going to take something that by design reduces a vehicle's MPG, and improve that vehicles MPG by 50%? Well, the Illuminati called, they'd like to meet with you. They asked that you come alone.

" If I told you I was working on a new DPF that didn't have to be regenerated, required no maintenance, and could increase fuel efficiency by 50%, would you be interested?"
reveals that he is not very scientific.

OP sorry but I cannot find any trust in you. And I hate all kinds of schemes including a Ponzi scheme! We are not naive a_s_s..holes who would be giving credit card numbers away to buy a miracle DPFs with a installation manual attached. So if that is the idea then forget about it.

Hey, OP here. I am at University of Rochester. It seems hard to believe but we have it in use cases on trucks here in Rochester, NY and it supports these claims. The difference is that it isn't a physical filter, we use a patented flow-through method that literally vaporizes particulate, which eliminates back pressure which reduces fuel efficiency. BMW patented a similar product in 2009 but for some reason hasn't brought it to market. We're just getting to the stage where we are forming a business plan to bring it to OEMs

And I'm literally not trying to sell you anything, just trying to gauge interest and get a grasp on DPFs currently affect you guys. I appreciate all the feedback so far!

What's the flow through method? What makes the sooth evaporate? How is that method different from the one in use now?
