Every top guy at a company was once the new kid on the block. After everyone else dies, quits, or gets fired it will be your turn.

Some of us have weird ideas about what's fun. To be involved with a project like that at any level would be interesting. I imagine its like pro sports though. Many aspire to that level but most of us will only play high school ball. College if we're lucky

It's doable depending on the driver, I know several guys that do it and have been involved several times myself and have been on a few occasions extended the offer to go to work in that field if I wanted, but like I said I don't want to. You start out doing the grunt work and move up. Honestly to me the driving would be easier than the rout planning.

Several years ago I took an 18000 house to Norfolk Nebraska for you guys, one of your guys came for the carbody with an old Talbert mechanical detach 9 axle, I didn't know they still had something like that. I remember the guy who put it together had a newer Ford service truck with a Peterbilt logo in place of the Ford logo. He said he used to drive then became an erector.

Do they have one of the new XL 11 axles up there?

I spoke with a driver who hauls those loads one time at the laundromat in Oklahoma. He showed me a video and pictures of the loads he hauls from his phone. He said he gets paid well but only got paid once a month. He deffinately got my attention.I asked him all kinds of questions.
