My next door neighbor ran tower cranes for 25 years.

During the building boom up to 2009 he used to gripe how you could never find someone on the ground who spoke English to communicate instructions on the load.

Now days he just gripes he has no work because they only hire bilingual on the sites now .

Been seeing in the news that ICE, is arresting and deporting thousands of illegals. And the libs are raising HOLY hell about it.
Far as I'm concerned, GREAT, get em out of here. Send em back from whence they came. Many of their home countries have worse punishments than we ever thought of and NO qualms about enforcement of THEIR laws.

Don't burst the rights Switzerland bubble. They'll have to come up with some other reason why having guns everywhere is a good and safe idea. Don't make them think too hard, I can smell the burning from here.

Doesn't take much thought, ED.

First, here in America its a CONSTITUTIONAL Right. NOT a privilege, as it appears to be in Canada.

Second, evidence exists that more guns DOES Equal LESS crime. Criminals never know who might be armed, that is a VERY good thing. Look at the recent mass murders (all committed by loony libs BTW). They have ALL taken place at so called GUN FREE ZONES.
When states increased concealed carry like Minnesota did. The left of our great nation decried that there would be a wild west mentality, armed men and women would shoot first and ask questions later. There has not been a rise in armed situations as the left screamed there would be. There wasn't a wild west mentality. There was concerned citizenry who decided to take back their RIGHTS. Certainly criminals have rights, but so to do the victims of crime to defend themselves.
The job of the police is to investigate and apprehend, after the fact.

When England made it harder to possess a weapon, violent crime escalated. Same thing with Australia. And in every other jurisdiction where it has been tried.
The statistic exists that America is 3rd in the world for murders committed by firearms. But when you remove Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City and I think is was Miami. All areas long controlled by Democrats with extremely strict gun laws. We are 4th from the bottom, world wide.

The only smoke you smell ED, is that from the left every time Conservatives best them with facts and knowledge. Instead of feelings.
We (Conservatives) don't have time for your feelings, we have things to do.

Handguns in Canada are restricted to authorized ranges only (rifles are slightly less restricted). Down in the Vancouver area, shootings happen all the time. How does that happen if handguns are restricted to range use only? Oh you mean criminals don't follow laws? Imagine that.
