Wow you never mentioned that before. All you stated was you like to talk on the phone with your wife alot. Maybe you need a change in careers and be home with your child more then

 

Didn't think I would have to go into detail on such a reason. It's something that just recently started after she was jumped in school.

 

But here's the thing - you bashed the Walmart phone policy and even made comments about the company not trusting their drivers enough to talk on the phone, etc. Then when somebody responded, you pull back the curtain and reveal your situation. You can't have it both ways. Walmart isn't for everybody. And in your current situation, wouldn't be for you. But I, like many others here, can sacrifice talking while driving to earn the type of living and work environment that Walmart provides. And I bet at the end of the day, our talk time would be about the same.

 

Random alcohol testing pilot ended nationwide several months ago. Please get your facts straight.

 

Ok, sorry. I stand corrected.

 

And you are allowed 60 minutes of drive line talking a day in 10 minute intervals not 10 minutes an hour for a total of 60. You could be on the phone for your 10 minutes hang up and take another 10 minute call 5 minutes later. Just don't go over 10 and don't go over 60 on the drive line. I personally very rarely answer my phone on the drive line and if I do its usually in the evening when the traffic is gone.

That is a question only your GTM or HR person can answer accurately. You'll get lots of guesses here, but why speculate? Go to the source and ask.
