Yup, i remember your other thread. Sounds to me like they dont much care bout you, you quit, they will find another. Kinda like mega mentality on a medium sized business scale. Jmo. Go find another gig, spring is coming. Get into equipment hauling, or local job site delivery for a trade. By winter you will have proven yourself and you will be retained.
I have no idea?

What I don't get is this - freight liner classic day-cab which I'm pretty sure is a 2006 with 580,000 miles and it says "Mercedes Benz Powered" on the side of the hood.
What do you mean you are pretty sure?
You didn't check the paper work before you started to drive it?
ALSO I would stop the madness and find another job.Lepton1, okiedokie and TheyCallMeDave Thank this. -
Your opinion is accurate my friend. Last week I confronted my boss and I straight up no called no showed for 4 days and when I contacted him that weekend to see what the deal was his response was "oh I haven't heard from you, have you found another job?" So you can bet I'm actively looking elsewhere but I've got to attempt to pay the bills for time being.street beater Thanks this.

Pretty sure as in I was guessing on the year. Paper work? Yea you'd think so but no. They're big on "doctoring logs" here if you run tractor-trailer so they aren't too concerned with doing things legitimately, and yea it is madness and a situation I had no idea I'd find myself in when I signed on.

Its a Mercedes. Nuff said.

Get the hell out of there before you lose your license or worst. They'll throw you under the bus.

This is the United States of American. Slavery is no longer legal. You are not required to work anywhere. You can leave and find something new. You work for someone and they give you a check. Check not big enough go find different Job.
Explain your concerns to the boss. He might not know the problems. He might fix them. Or he might not care.
The problem seems to be you are not happy. Find something that makes you happy.TheyCallMeDave, street beater and okiedokie Thank this. -

In the almost 40 yrs of driving I've worked for some real Culls. The "Boss" knows exactly what's going on, it's his company. These kind of crooks should be shut down and thrown in jail.

I've been bouncing around in these trucks for 34 years or so, and I have to agree with ya, there's a fine line between being an efficient operation and a throat cutter, which is all at the discretion of the business owner, who all too often loses sight of what's really going on....kinda like driving off the Blvd while looking at the clouds....hehe
okiedokie and TheyCallMeDave Thank this.
