I ran a .62 overdrive with 3.70's for 15 years. After running on 3.36's and a .79 overdrive I will never go back to that whining needing a back box every year pos.

Was that the 359 with the single stick air shift @wore out ?
I didn't realize you only have a .79 in this new 379? I thought it was a newer 13,

Yes it was my single stick 359. It came with a 13 double over. Pulling it and going with the aux trans behind a RTLO18913B was the best move I made. Though it was expensive as hell.

Yea my new ride is a RTO15715.

According to my GPS I gained about 4 mph at 1600 rpm. @70 now seems to cruise with little more torque at that rpm vs 1750 like before.
