Picked up a new toy from Steel Rod's in Indiana I-65 exit 201. $32 with tax. I know I don't necessarily need this to use the radio, but it looks nice and I can see what those mystery channels are in the different bands.
I noticed the sixth digit changes sometimes. On channel 19, it can alternate between two and three. Is this a problem, or is that error negligible with a.m. radio? (No SSB on the General Lee.)

NO it is way off, if it was 4 or 6, well OK but not 2.

@Ridgeline I promise I won't let this distract me from staying in my lane.

I can't find a chart that goes to 6 digits. Do I assume channel 19 is 27.1850?
fargonaz Thanks this. -
The counter is off, there is an adjustment inside that can fix that. If it said 4 or 6, either side of 5, I could see it being slightly off but 2 is too much.
EDIT
OH CRAP, sorry BT, I am looking at a 6 digit counter which I thought was a 5 digit counter.
OK disregard all of it except the part about adjusting it. It should be zero. Every CB channel is five digits so in a six digit, it is always zero. 27.185 is 27.1850.BTShepp Thanks this. -

BT, Have you had the radio checked to see if it is dead on freq?
-
The counter was sitting with the other used radios/equipment at Steel Rod's shop.
If the radio is off by 0.00003 MHz, does that really effect AM?
