Hey all, I'm in the process of signing on with Foodliner doing bulk tanker work. Does anyone have any updates on them and how are they to work for. I talked with a terminal manager from Dana transport also. They sounded good on the phone , Dana Transport that is. But Foodliner has a flour mill that I would be working out of that's a lot closer to where I live. I wanted to know if they do local, regional or otr. I just have to decide what company would be best to go with. I like doing regional work, but not ready to go back to over the road. Thanks.

It all depends on the terminal youre gonna run out of. I worked out of the Langhorne, PA. Its was alright. I left because I needed to be home everyday.

He's probably talking about the foodliner trucks..

It's more of an optical illusion though because they have no fairings, top hat, and it also has the shorter front..

If you want to see small check this one out.. short front end and a 48" sleeper

Its all about weight. Bulk trucking with hoppers, tankers, and pneumatics are all about low tare weight to get the higest payload possible. Plus most of the time it's fairly regional as well, so you get more home time and only need the sleeper a few nights a week. I drive a 4 axle 386 pete with a 36" flat top and run bulk out west here regionally.
