ps: Why didn't the OP learn this before he/she got in the rig? Did they quit teaching this in school? I was exempted, so... i dunno. Just sayin~!

 

This was my whole point. No wonder these guys can't get from point A to point B. No one will let them use that organ between there ears.

 

I was doing great until the boss called and said I have to relay with an out of hours driver and do his 3 stops in LA!!

 

Sounds like my ex idiot.He's always picking up some drivers slack and that's not even what his job is.But anymore he has to do other drivers jobs plus his.One local driver quit just for that reason.He got fired of being his dispatchers puppet.

 

Come on driver, you don't stop till the job is done!
Sheesh, were you never taught that? Kids these days, I tell ya.

Oo this is great! What if you also are on recaps, have 3 hours left on your 70, are picking up 12 and start driving at 8pm? What then? Assuming all stops, when could you stop driving?

 

Yes, i am exempted too....can do 18 hrs of driving in an 18 hr day...rest for 8 then repeat. Reset after 80 in a 9 day.
