No, it really isn't. Do I agree with all their policies? Hell no! But all in all, they are decent and as long as you follow company policies, they'll do right.

Hey it's good to hear from you. At least you're getting your foot in the door with them and gaining experience. You don't have to stay with them forever. :biggrin_25519:

it's not that logs are hard to fill out, it's when you are leasing ,working 70 hours a week making very little money, and your DM pressures you to do things that you cannot log legally.
My first DM at england told me , And I quote"what you do with your logs is between you and god, But between you and me, three lates and your out!"
NOT a good thing to tell a new driver.

I had a DM at Knight tell me something similar. He's no longer employed at Knight.

Apparently, I wasn't the only one to call safety.

Also, I must say as of late, the scheduling of delivery appointments has gotten a lot better. Used to be a lot of loads had either too little time or way to much time for delivery, now most are just right to keep you moving. Guess when they centralized load planning to the PHX office they got the right people doing it.

    AfterShock Thanks this.

Nope.. It wasn't.. I'll ask my trainer if he minds me tossing his name out here. He's a pretty good guy and we had a blast running together.

Hey Biker you are definetly smart not to lease a truck and be a company driver. Good Luck in your driving career.
