Spokane, WA to Calgary, AB BEST ROUTE?

The GF and I did a little vacation to Calgary/Banff/Edmonton. We were going to go via Vancouver, until the desk clerk lady clued us in on the fact that the highway from Vancouver to Calgary had the most expensive gas in Canada. Went out to Spokane and up through Idaho instead.
Beautiful area.

 

Don't speed going thru Sandpoint.

I got a warning and inspection. If there is a guy on your right....screw em.
Drive the limit! XD
Save ya 30 minutes.

Also a Walmart there if you need groceries with a truck parking area.

 

That is the best route. Good luck with snow though.
