@Hick...glad to hear from you again. Come on over to the new thread and have some fun with us.

..I've read a lot worse from other trucking co posts, he's getting paid that's the main issue, maybe it's not what he envisioned for starting out but he's doing his best and making it work for him.. some of these companies would leave you fighting for reimbursement after paying for many of these expenses out of your own pocket!
-
I guess your right. It just seemed like a waste of talent from the outside looking in. It appears it all worked out pretty well for him though.

It has. Much better job with a small flatbed company. Crazy money for someone with my level of experience...and not a single breakdown. I'm happy with what I have now.
bigmikectn, Weeezerd, LuDiesel and 6 others Thank this. -
Great read my brother @Broke Down 69 definitley worth every minute spent. Will make my way to your new thread. Good luck with your journey.
I have a received a pre hire. And due to some blemishes in my past I will follow three with it. L/p is not a option. But I will stick it out for about 6 months IF POSSIBLE. Just to gain experience and allow my record to clear up. Will start a thread of my own n hope for a better ending my friend. But your post was very informative and good luck againBroke Down 69 Thanks this. -
Good luck to you. Keep your eyes and ears open, expect stupidity at every point on the way. Keep an ample supply of patience and swing wide. Never hesitate to as a question and regardless of how backed up the shipper, receiver or truck stop is get out and look as many times as it takes to get it in and not hit anything...remember, that idiot talking trash on the CB was new once too. On second thought, just turn the CB off for a few...it'll save you a little stress.

Hope you don't get the famous "purple turd"!Broke Down 69 Thanks this.
