Walmart here I come!

YRC is at $22 an hr wow. Is that the 85% pay? I see they have a big push for team drivers now. And even have there own school. Yellow was the worst thing to happen to roadway!!!

 

Oh ok. Had no clue what pay was there. There's a YRC small office in same town where friend works but he started a 21+/hr and will top out at 24 plus change.
Basically if he works 12hr day he makes just shy of what my current ADP is, not bad at all really. Considering he goes home every night and off every single weekend and major holidays.

 

3 & 1/2 months in, I just got on the 6/3. I think I'm really gonna like it.

 

Yes that's from the 15% pay cut, there is no line haul or team driving out of the terminal I was at. It was the end of the line terminal. I was on the Yellow side and yes I agree it went down the tube after they bought Roadway.

 

Don't get me wrong they do pay good, I was there for 20 years. The only reason why I left is because I don't think my back would last until I'm 65 years old. I have no complaints about YRC, it's not perfect but what company is?

 

What is the process if you want to transfer after you get your year in? Is it by seniority or first come first serve?

Go online, submit request. Gets routed to bentonville recruiting then the wait begins. First come first serve

 

so what program gives you the most or decent time at home
