A Kauffman may do all right if you over buy. They aren't the greatest. They tend to crack.

5 axle work isn't paying real great right now. As far a that go 7 axle is spotty at best. You may want a step with ramps. If you get a 30" deck you can load 11' legal

Personally, they strike me more as a backyard Joe building trailers in their spare time rather than as a serious trailer manufacturer.
The reason you pay more for the other manufacturer's product is because it is a more proven product, they have years of experience doing what they do. I got one of kaufman's fixed neck 30tons its been a good trailer and It will do what its rated for. I've owned 4 of them no frame or cross member issues some minor ramp issues
