hello, i made the mistake of drinking here in nj. by the time i realized i was too impared to drive i pulled up to the
side of the road. unfortunately my car was on and i was a sleep so they took me in, apparently i refused to blow while drunk. now i have a DUI and a refusal on my license. this happened in 12/2011. i decided to get my CDL being that its been 5 years since, however, not a single company i have applied to wants me. i passed my CDL test 09/2016. i payed crazy money on school. and now all i have is a debt and a new drivers license. i applied in nj and out side of jersey. no luck so far. any ideas?

What companies did you apply to? I'm sure there are some bottom-of-the-barrel companies that'll hire you.

Yep, your best chance is with TransAm. They only go back 2 yrs. on a DUI.
Do the online application, then follow with a phone call tomorrow. Don't make the mistake of calling first. When you do call, they want to see that application on their computer screen.

The refusal could be why no-one is hiring you.Where all have you applied?
